Well sore points in the body are usually warmer than other parts of the body due to inflammation, so the memory foam responds to this slight temperature increase by being more cushion-y and contouring to that spot providing instant relief. It also does not sink with your cat’s body like other cat beds that add more pressure to already sore joints.

Can my dog use this bed?

Absolutely, small dogs will adore this bed. We just recommend measuring your dog first to make sure they will fit.

Does the bed have an anti-skid base?

Yes it does. The Bouclé Bungalow will never slip or move when your cat steps into the bed to rest. This is crucial for cats that suffer from joint pain.

Can my cat move the bed?

Not if it is placed on a flat surface.

What is so special about the Bouclé Bungalow?

The Bouclé Bungalow is a patent pending design. We designed it to combine orthopaedic support, practicality and aesthetics in one bed. Every cat that has ever sat in this bed has immediately fallen in love. The secret is on the way it contours to your cat’s body, so they feel secure. The Chin Rest provides the perfect height ledge for your cat to rest their little head on for when they’re on judge duty. The fabric we used on this bed is so incredibly soft and cats love rubbing their faces on the smooth edges.

I just received the bed, why is it flat?

It is totally normal for your cat bed to be flat when you first open it up. Please allow 7 days for it to fully plump up and look like photos online. Your cat can use it right away, and it will not affect the inflation process.

What if my cat doesn't like it?

We know cats can be choosy, so if your cat decides they would rather sleep in a cardboard box, you are welcome to return the bed within 7 days of receipt. A $50 restocking fee will apply on opened bed returns. Please note, the bed will no longer fit in the box it came in once it has expanded, so you will need to package it appropriately for shipping. No restocking fee will be charged on unopened returned beds. If you change your mind about a cover, you are welcome to return within 7 days of delivery. Please note in order for a return to be eligible, the bed and or cover must be undamaged, unsoiled and free of any fur or hair. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Is the cat bed indestructible?

By a cat? Pretty much. By a dog? Definitely not.

What is the bed made from?

Our patent pending cat bed is made from our proprietary high density memory foam for your cat’s comfort.

My cat wets the bed, is this bed suitable?

Yes totally. The inner memory foam is protected with a waterproof lining similar to your own mattress protector. It has a non-permeable barrier that will protect the inner from pee as long as it is not taken off.

Is the bed waterproof?

Yes, the bed’s interior is fully waterproof, provided you do not take the waterproof lining off the memory foam pieces. The outer bouclé cover is not waterproof, however it comes off and is machine washable.

Can I get the bed in the green?

Unfortunately not. The bed comes in ‘milk’ and any other cover is an add-on.

Is the bed scratch proof?

Your cat’s claws will seamlessly run through the bouclé loops without getting caught, so it does extremely well with scratching.

Can I put the bed on the cold floor?

We highly recommend you always place the bed on a rug and not directly on a cold floor to prevent condensation, which can contribute to mould.

Will my cat overheat in the bed?

We designed the bed to allow airflow around your cat’s body. This was achieved by creating a base that supports your cat’s body weight and does not sink with it.

What is the cover material made from?

The bouclé fabric is 100% polyester, making it extremely durable and easy to wash.

How do I change my covers?

Simply zip off the cover by unzipping the base zipper to release the base mattress and then the internal zipper to release the top cushion. Then assemble the bed with the new cover.

Is the cover waterproof?

No, the cover is not waterproof because we have not treated the cover with any harmful waterproofing chemicals. We designed the cover for easy machine washing, meanwhile the inner memory foam is fully waterproof in the waterproof casing it comes in. Ensuring your bed is your cat’s forever bed, no matter how many revenge pees are carried out.

Will you be releasing more covers?

Absolutely! More covers, and more colours! This is just the beginning.

Can I wash the bed?

You can certainly wash the bouclé cover by zipping it off and machine washing. The inner foam is protected with a waterproof lining kit, so there is no need to wash it. Washing the memory foam pieces will damage them. If you do wish to wash the waterproof lining, simply zip it off and wash on cold. Only reassemble your bed once all covers are fully dry.

How do I wash the Bouclé Cover?

Simply zip off the cover by unzipping the base zipper to release the base mattress and then the internal zipper to release the top cushion. Wash the cover only on a gentle warm machine wash with mild detergent. Do not bleach, tumble dry or iron. Hang to dry. Please follow the care instructions on the care label attached to the cover.

How do I clean the foam?

You only need to wash the cover. Please never wash the memory foam pieces as it will damage their viscosity. There won’t be a need to wash your memory foam pieces because they are protected in a waterproof lining which will protect them from pee and other types of soiling.

How do I clean cat hair off the bed?

We highly recommend using the Furfy. The Furfy is another product we have produced, and it really is the best pet hair remover.

Do I need to measure my cat?

No you don’t as the Bouclé Bungalow fits all sized cats.

Why is it one size only?

We did extensive testing and found the perfect dimension bed that fits every cat breed comfortably, making it so much easier to shop for your cat.

Does it suit all cat breeds?

Yes it does.

Can two cats sleep in one bed?

Two small cats can sleep in one bed, however they will be squished, and some cats love that. If you have chonky cats, it’s best to get them one each.

How long is shipping?

Normal delivery time in Australia is 2-5 business days. Regional, rural and international destinations may take longer.

How much is shipping?

Shipping in Australia is free. 

To ship the Furfy to New Zealand, it is a flat rate of $15. To ship the cover to New Zealand, it is a flat rate of $20. To ship the bed to New Zealand, it is a flat rate of $30. 

To ship the Furfy to any other international destinations, it is a flat rate of $25. To ship the cover to any other international destinations, it is a flat rate of $40. To ship the bed to any other international destinations, it is a flat rate of $80. 

Can I pay extra for express shipping?

We always try to choose express shipping for our customers when possible (for free) however we cannot always guarantee it. If you need your bed urgently and live in Sydney, we can arrange for you to pick up from our warehouse, or you can arrange for an Uber to pick it up for you.

Are taxes included in the price for international orders?

Our prices do not include any import taxes. Please check with your local customs representatives for information on whether you need to pay local customs charges.

If you ordered the bed and an additional cover, the cover will be packaged in a separate box to the bed. We always ship them out together, but Australia Post doesn’t always deliver them on the same day. Do you ship to PO Boxes?

Yes we do. Our shipping is done with Australia Post.

How do I track my order?

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking information with a tracking link that you can follow.

Do I have to be home to receive my order?

All our items are carried out with an authority to leave if there is a safe spot to leave at your address. Otherwise, it will be taken to your nearest post office for you to collect.

Do you give back?

Yes! We are a regular supporter of an animal shelter in Damascus, Syria called SARA - the Syrian animal rescue association. Our founder, Julia, has personally visited this shelter and met with the shelter founder - Annie. She saw first hand the incredible work Annie does to rescue and house over 1000 dogs, 200 cats and a donkey. She also feeds starving wild hyenas that happen to roam in the vicinity of the shelter. Where is the bed made?

We take pride in manufacturing our beds in our own facility in China, despite concerns some people have about goods made in the country. We understand that China has a reputation for unethical supply chains, but we want to assure you that we take this matter very seriously. Our facility upholds strict ethical standards, including paying above fair wages to employees and complying with Oeko-Tex regulations.

As a company with years of experience in the pet bed industry (such as with our Barney Bed), we are not simply mass producers or dropshippers. We have personally designed each and every one of our products from scratch (except the Furfy), and we see them through every step of the manufacturing process. We are dedicated to producing high-quality products that will have a long lifespan, so our customers can trust in their purchase.

While we understand the desire for local manufacturing, we have found that this doesn't necessarily equate to better quality. Instead, it will always lead to a significant increase in price, sometimes up to 5 times higher. Do you offer a warranty?

Cat St offers a 12-month limited warranty for manufacturing defects only. We also offer a 3-year warranty against memory foam sagging. This limited warranty applies to defects due to faulty workmanship or materials. If you receive an item with a defect, please get in touch with us on our live chat or hello@catstreet.com and we will happily replace the item or provide you with a refund.

What is not covered under warranty?

Damages caused by rough cat/dog use. This includes but is not limited to: Bites, rips, tears, excessive scratching, stains, burns and moisture from condensation damage. Damage caused by commercial use, such as in a hotel or store.

I think my cover is faulty, what do I do?

Sorry to hear! Please contact our legendary customer service team on hello@catstreet.com with photos of your concern along with your order number, and we will assist you as soon as possible with directions on the next steps. All our products come with a 12-month warranty on manufacturing defects, so if it is a manufacturing defect, we will replace it for you in a jiffy.

How do I return my order?

You may return your bed or cover within 7 days of receipt. Please contact customer service with your order number on hello@catstreet.com and our legendary team will give the return address to send your items back to. Please ensure your items are packaged securely for shipping to prevent any damages that you will be liable for. No restocking fee will be charged on unopened returned beds. Please note in order for a return to be eligible, the bed and or cover must be undamaged, unsoiled and free of any fur or hair. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. 

Can I return the bed once it has been opened?

Yes, you may return the bed if you have opened it within 7 days of receipt, however a $50 restocking fee will apply on opened bed returns. Please note, the bed will no longer fit in the box it came in once it has expanded, so you will need to package it appropriately for shipping. We can only accept the bed back if it is in its original condition and does not contain any hair/fur and is not soiled. We reserve the right to refuse your return if these conditions are not met.

In order for the Furfy to work, you need to move it over the surface back and forth rapidly. Ensure you empty out the fur chamber regularly.
